My husband and I both get adverse reactions (neck pain, headaches) from frozen and canned peaches that we buy in the store because they both contain Citric Acid which essentially is MSG. Check out my post: MSG 101. So last Summer we bought a lot of local peaches and I froze several packages. Here is a dessert we love — no Sugar, no MSG, no Gluten!
Quick & Easy Sugar Free Dessert!
Makes 4 servings
In 9″ pie plate place 2 cups Fresh or Frozen Peaches. I used peaches I had frozen, they were frozen solid with a lot of juice so I thawed them before putting in pan. Add 1/2 cup Fresh or Frozen Blueberries. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon on top with 1/4 teaspoon Stevita Powdered Stevia, and 1 Tbsp. Xylitol Natural Sweetener. Stir into fruit.
In small mixing bowl add:
1/4 cup softened Butter
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
3/4 cup Organic Quick Oats
2 Tbsp. Oat Flour
1/4 teaspoon Stevita Powdered Stevia
1/4 cup Xylitol Natural Sweetener
Mix together and sprinkle on top of fruit.
Bake 350 F / 177 C for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and fruit is bubbling.
